You are a lighthouse on a rock in a fog that hates light. You can't move. Hold it back until dawn.

Sweep and focus a single beam while the fog-things wash in. A narrow beam reaches far and burns hard, but drinks oil and heats the lens. A wide one is cheap and cool, but weak. Light supply ships in, sound the foghorn, and grow your lamp with a new mechanism every level.
