Lantern Rock privacy policy

Effective 4 November 2026. Applies to the Lantern Rock apps for iPhone, iPad and Android.

Lantern Rock is a game made by Searope ("I", "me"). I don't run any servers for the game and I don't collect, see or sell your personal data. The game does use Google's advertising service, which is explained below.

What stays on your device

Your best scores, unlocked nights and settings (sound and vibration) are stored only on your device. They're never sent to me, and deleting the app deletes them.

Advertising

The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, and to prevent ad fraud, Google may collect information from your device, such as its advertising identifier, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Google's use of this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

• In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before showing personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time from the game's settings.
• On iPhone and iPad, the app asks for permission before your device's advertising identifier can be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. If you decline, you still see ads, but they aren't personalized with that identifier.
• On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Google settings.

Removing ads

You can buy "Remove ads" once inside the app. The payment is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); I never receive your payment details. The store only tells the app that the purchase exists, so it can stop showing ads, and so it can restore the purchase on a new device.

Children

Lantern Rock isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

I hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for me to access, correct or delete. For data that Google collects for advertising, use Google's controls described above, or contact Google.
